Earlier in the week, I observed Portland High School students working with a CCSU professor and several students from the University working on the cars, leading up to this morning's event when four children were presented with their cars, which were specifically modified for their needs. This “Go Baby Go!” program struck me as something that represents everything good about our small but successful school district! So much of who we are is reflected in the steadfast, effective and inspirational work of our teachers and staff.
I want to extend my appreciation to Mr. Bernard and all our students participating in Portland’s “Go Baby Go!” program.
I am including several pictures from this morning’s inspiring event!
